About the Role:

Global Technology Infrastructure & Operations (GTIO)

The candidate is expected to reside within Hyderabad, India.

Key Responsibilities:

In addition to following McDonald’s policies and procedures, principal accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

Lead network and project engineering activities for Office Network Products, including:

• SD-WAN (Cisco Viptela), Network Connectivity & Transport
• Identity & Access Control Policy Platform
• Cloud-managed and On-Prem LAN/WLAN (Cisco, Meraki, Juniper)
• SASE (Palo Alto/Zscaler)
• Deliver high-quality designs, migration plans, and runbooks.
• Plan and execute network deployments, upgrades, and migrations across multiple sites.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting for complex network issues, including root cause analysis and resolution.
• Support change implementation and hardware installations at corporate sites.
• Provide escalation support for network incidents.
• Drive installation and commissioning activities.
• Collaborate with global teams to ensure operational excellence.

Talent Management:

• Work with managers to identify skill gaps and training needs
• Partner with Team to facilitate workshops, training programs, and career development initiatives

What We’re Looking For:

Experience:

• 9 to 12 years in Network Engineering within large global organizations.
• 5+ years managing enterprise networks (Cisco Routing & Switching, SD-WAN, VPNs, MPLS, LAN/WLAN, Security devices).
• Hands-on experience in network deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting across multi-vendor environments.
• 4+ years working in globally dispersed teams.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering/technology or equivalent.
• Certifications: CCIE/CCNP/CCDP preferred; ITIL certification desirable.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Continuous improvement mindset and ability to influence organizational objectives.
