We also develop new products in cooperation with our Technology Units to meet our customer needs.We are looking for a “Manager- Logistics Centre & Warehouse” to support our Asia Pacific Logistics Centre initiative at our manufacturing facility located at Markal, Pune. Your main responsibility is to Manage and contribute daily operations of the logistics center and warehouse, ensuring efficient material handling, receiving, storage, and dispatch processes. This includes managing inbound and outbound flows, inventory accuracy, warehouse control and space utilization. Develop and execute warehouse operations strategy and processes in alignment with business goals. Develop high-performing AP Logistics Center team, ensure resourcing, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Monitor AP Logistics Center performance metrics, analyze data, making data-driven decisions. Execute actions to maintain KPIs on targeted level. Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as OTD, quality, capacity utilization and cost. Imports/ exports/ shipping Operations as per EXIM procedures, taxation regulation and foreign trade policies. Timely manage multiple communication between suppliers, shippers, customers, and internal parties. Prepare and manage transport documentations, e.g., Invoice in ERP, E-invoice on Govt Portal and E-waybill etc. Use insights to inform strategic decisions and operational adjustments. Stakeholder Communication & Collaboration_ Act as the primary contact person between the AP logistics center and internal/external stakeholders, including procurement, production, logistics, customer service, and transportation service providers. Ensure alignment on service expectations and performance metrics.You report directly to local GS PROD PP Pune Factory head.Who is the professional we are looking for?
To be successful in this role you will have, Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field. +8 years of experience from supervising logistics center / warehouse operations. Experience in global supply chains, especially in the technology or manufacturing sector. Strong expertise of warehousing, logistics center and distribution center operations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Advanced Excel skills Proficiency in ERP systems (Infor LN, Baan, SAP, etc.). Excellent communication, people skills, and collaboration skills across global teams. Ability to supervise and work in a fast-paced, matrixed and multicultural environment. Ability to work under pressure without ready-made processes. Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Ability to develop operations and processes In addition, you have motivation and ability to achieve results under pressure with strong sense of responsibility and independence. You have effective written and oral communication skills in English with presentation and negotiation skills.We offer
