Job Description

Job Title: HR Business Partner (HRBP) Department: Human Resources Reporting To: Head – HR / CHRO / HR Director Role PurposeTo align the people strategy with business objectives by leading strategic workforce planning, talent management, performance management, capability development, and employee engagement for the assigned business unit or function. Responsibilities & Key DeliverablesStrategic Workforce Planning (SWP): Align workforce plans with business strategy to ensure future-ready talent capabilities. Talent Management: Lead talent identification, succession planning, and development of high-potential employees within the business/function. HR Analytics & Insights: Utilize HR analytics tools to analyze trends and workforce metrics, delivering insights that inform talent and engagement strategies. Capability Development: Assess and fulfil behavioural and functional skill development needs in line with business objectives. Talent Acquisition: Ensure timely recruitment of talent in accordance with business/function requirements. Performance Management: Manage the performance appraisal cycle per corporate guidelines, ensuring timely and effective execution. Total Rewards & Recognition: Implement and administer reward and recognition programs that drive motivation and performance. Employee Engagement: Design and drive initiatives that foster a positive, engaging, and high-performance work culture. Employee Relations & Communication: Address grievances, facilitate employee communication, manage exits professionally, and promote a harmonious work environment. Key Personality TraitsStrong initiative and self-drive with a high achievement orientation Tenacity and perseverance in handling challenges Balanced thinker with both ideation and strong execution focus Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence without authority Strong stakeholder management and collaboration abilities Qualification & ExperienceGraduate/Postgraduate in Human Resources or related field [Insert desired years] years of experience in HRBP or generalist HR roles Experience working across business functions in a fast-paced environment preferred Preferred Industry: Any sector with strong focus on people development and performance culture (e.g., Manufacturing, FMCG, Technology, BFSI)
