Role: Manager - Human Resources (HR)

Profile Overview:

Responsible for managing the end-to-end HR operations at the plant, ensuring smooth functioning of all HR processes including recruitment, employee relations, statutory compliance, training, and performance management. The role requires close coordination with corporate HR

and plant leadership to maintain a productive and compliant workforce. The position may be responsible for one or multiple plants based on business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all HR activities at the plant, including manpower planning, recruitment, onboarding, and induction.
  • Drive employee engagement, grievance handling, and maintain harmonious industrial relations.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and labor laws (Factories Act, ESIC, PF, etc.).
  • Coordinate and align with Head Office HR for policy implementation, HR data reporting, and company-wide initiatives.
  • Support and drive CSR activities at the plant level in coordination with the corporate CSR team and local authorities.
  • Support implementation of HR policies, PMS, and corporate initiatives at plant level.
  • Maintain employee records, attendance, payroll inputs, and coordinate with Head Office for timely processing.
  • Identify training needs, organize technical and behavioral training programs.
  • Lead initiatives for employee welfare, safety, and discipline.
  • Liaise with government authorities and local bodies for statutory inspections and audits.
  • Ensure alignment of HR practices with company culture, values, and business goals.

Qualification & Experience Requirements:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in HR / IR / Personnel Management.
  • 8 - 12 years of experience in Plant HR role within manufacturing / engineering / automotive / electrical / polymer industry.
  • Strong understanding of labor laws and factory HR operations.
  • Hands-on experience in recruitment, payroll coordination, and employee engagement.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HRMS tools.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
