In this role, [In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end payroll administration for International APAC & EMEA employees, ensuring all statutory requirements are met, and maintaining accurate payroll records and managing the payroll team, capacity and stakeholder ship]
Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end payroll operations across multiple regions (APAC and EMEA), ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with local regulations.- Lead, mentor, and develop a global payroll team, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback and make them to adhere to company policies and adaptability.
- Allocate tasks, manage workloads, and ensure high standards of service delivery.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture across multiple location.
- Collaborating with clients and actively engaging with stakeholders is essential to maintain clear communication and alignment.
- Perform independent review and sign-off of the final payroll summary before release to Finance/Banking across APAC and EMEA.
- Develop, optimize, and standardize payroll processes across regions.
- Implement internal controls to reduce errors, ensure data integrity, and improve efficiency.
- Drive automation and system enhancements in payroll tools and HRIS integrations.
- Promote team engagement through ongoing communication on processes, structured career development support, and regular assessments of team availability and workload.
- Ensure timely escalation of process-related issues, concerns, and risks to next level leadership, while actively collaborating with them to seek guidance, incorporate their feedback, and suggestion where is required.
- Acting as point of contact for escalated queries for directs and assisting with payroll related issues (Employees/ HR/ Business Leads/ Vendors)
- Manage and maintain good relationships with internal stakeholders and third parties to ensure an accurate, compliant and timely processed payroll.
- Payroll related projects such as new payroll implementations/transitions, new journals/reporting implementations and ad hoc projects.
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.- Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
- Any Bachelor’s degree, Post Graduation or Commerce (mandatory)
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
- Workday, Country Vendor Tools (TMF), Google Forms, Google Sheets, ERP Tools etc.
- 8+ years’ experience in end-to-end International Payroll experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Fast and accurate data entry, with excellent attention to detail
- To manage priorities while working to sensitive payroll deadlines and collaborate at all levels across the business
- Some understanding of Payroll Accounting practices and procedures
- Working towards CIPP Technician certificate or equivalent
- Good understanding of employment law and tax regulations and the application to payroll procedures
