Function Description The Service Management (SM) team is part of Service Management & Assurance (SMA) function within Financial Reporting Quality Assurance (FRQA) organization in Controllership. SM is a techno-functional group responsible to deliver on automated Reporting and Accounting processes. This team provide operational support to ensure systems are working as designed, processes are running smoothly, required controls & auditability is maintained and any incidents arising from automated processing are managed. Purpose of the Role The purpose of role is to ensure that all technology operational processes for Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Basel and Liquidity Reporting are successfully executed to support the Report owners for filing reports with Regulators. This role will require leading 3 to 5 colleagues. Responsibilities Maintain and update all frameworks within the Service Management team. Monitor all operations and ensure effective incident management including communication. Ensure that all the system processes are monitored/ executed by SM are as per the Runbook Manage Key stakeholders across multiple application processes, multiple distribution lists. Ensure controls are embedded in day-to-day functions. Identification, documentation, and implementation of PRSA operational controls including periodic testing to ensure controls are effective Work with Product Owner/s for prioritization of requirements and in ensuring seamless and effective delivery Responsible for core process framework - production hand-off, controls and compliance, supporting internal & external audit / exam support Lead Regulatory Reporting Modernization projects from SM perspective Partnering with AET, Product owners, Change Management & Report owners to communicate/clarify /define requirements, complete requisite documentation, lead the user testing and query resolution Adhering to project standards and governance models and applying consistent project delivery methodologies and standards. Maintain robust documentation in the form of SOP, knowledge articles, runbook etc. and always keep it current. This will be a People leader role & report directly to the Director - Service Management & Assurance, FRQA. Critical Factors to Success Strong understanding of Regulatory Reporting process Ability to effectively work with multiple stakeholders Strong planning and execution skills Techno-functional skills and mindset Experience Experience on Finance Accounting/Reporting systems or processes Experience managing operational processes to meet SLA, and drive continuous improvements Experience working closely with Technologies to develop/deploy/support systems to re-engineer processes and/or solve complex business problems Qualification Bachelors/Master’s in accounting, Business or Computer Science Functional Skills Finance Accounting and/or External Reporting Skills Process Review, Process Mapping and/or simplification, standardization Understanding of Operational controls framework PL/SQL, BI systems (OAS) preferred Oracle Financials (eBiz suite, GL, FAH, HFM) Knowledge of AXP systems (OFSA/ ODS/ R2CE/RRDD etc.) preferred Benefits We back you with benefits that support your holistic well-being so you can be and deliver your best.
