Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and proactive Data Governance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in implementing and managing data governance frameworks, ensuring data quality, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to uphold data integrity across the organization. This role requires strong stakeholder management skills and proficiency in tools like Collibra, Confluence, JIRA and SharePoint. Key Responsibilities: • Data Governance Implementation: Develop and enforce data governance policies, standards, and procedures across the data lifecycle. • Data Lifecycle Management: Oversee the end-to-end management of data assets, ensuring proper classification, usage, and archival. • Data Quality & Issue Management: Monitor data quality metrics, identify issues, and drive resolution through root cause analysis and remediation plans. • Critical Data Elements (CDE) Assessment: Identify and assess CDEs, ensuring they are accurately defined, documented, and maintained. • Data Attestation & Compliance: Facilitate periodic data attestation processes to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations. • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business units, IT, and data stewards to promote data governance awareness and adoption. • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain governance documentation using Collibra, Confluence and SharePoint; generate reports and dashboards as needed. Required Skills & Qualifications: • 3–6 years of experience in data governance, data quality, and lifecycle management. • Hands-on experience with Collibra, Confluence, and SharePoint. • Strong understanding of data governance frameworks and regulatory requirements. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

Preferred Attributes: • Certifications in data governance or data management (e.g., Collibra Ranger, DCAM). • Experience working in regulated industries (e.g. Insurance, Banking, Healthcare). • Familiarity with metadata management and data cataloging.
