Job Description

Understand technical and business solutions across Insurance domain and architecture
Review existing automation landscape (tools, test scripts, automation coverage etc.)
Define automation strategies, and automation planning
Establish and improve frameworks, Guide the team through periodic reviews, best practices and guidelines towards successful adoption
Generate and publish automation metrics, daily/weekly automation status reports
Enable self to work with teams across global delivery centers to review the implementation and course correct at an early stage
Enable self to be hands on the implementation and be able to support on site customer demands towards automation
Identify, create, and obtain test data by coordinating with stakeholders
Participate in Defect Triage calls/sessions
Escalate any issues regarding tools, existing test scripts etc. towards resolving the priorities
Act as a Single Point of Contact towards automation from a customer perspective and drive improvements

Skills Required:

Minimum 8-12 yrs of relevant experience
Must have multiple projects automation frameworks implementation experience
Hands on Experience for automation framework design and maintenance, DevOps pipeline configuration
Thorough understanding of Automation Processes, Automation scripting, code review, branching strategies
Java, JavaScript, Selenium, JMeter & BDD Frameworks
Extensive experience in Web automation with JavaScript language
Experience in API automation testing using JMeter
Experience with UI automation tools like Taiko or tools that leverage Chrome Dev Tools Protocol
Experience in cross browser and mobile devices testing
Experienced with planning and implementing scope of work in Agile deliveries
Effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery
Preferred experience towards non-functional testing like Accessibility, Security & Performance Testing
Experience with Guage-Taiko framework (preferred but not required)
