As a Logistics Manager at our company, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the efficient and cost-effective supply chain operations. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Developing and implementing logistics strategies to ensure efficient and cost-effective supply chain operations - Forecasting future logistical needs and planning accordingly - Optimizing routes and transportation schedules - Coordinating with warehouse teams to maintain proper storage conditions and organization - Managing inbound and outbound logistics operations, including shipping, receiving, and delivery - Selecting appropriate carriers, negotiating contracts, and freight rates - Ensuring timely delivery of goods while controlling costs - Supervising and training logistics staff, including warehouse workers, drivers, and coordinators - Assigning responsibilities, monitoring performance, and ensuring compliance with company policies - Ensuring compliance with national and international shipping regulations - Maintaining accurate records, including bills of lading, shipping manifests, and customs documents - Using logistics software and tools to track shipments and inventory - Recommending and implementing technology improvements to streamline logistics processes - Resolving shipping issues, delays, or customer complaints promptly - Coordinating with procurement, sales, and production departments to align logistics with business needs - Preparing and managing budgets for logistics activities - Monitoring logistics costs and identifying areas for savings and efficiency improvements In addition to the core responsibilities, the company offers paid sick time, paid time off, and a work schedule that includes Monday to Friday, night shift, rotational shift, US shift, and weekend availability.
