As a Route Planner and Coordinator, your primary role will involve developing efficient routes for drivers, coordinating pickup and delivery schedules, and managing load operations. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing efficient routes for drivers based on delivery timelines, traffic, and weather conditions. - Coordinating pickup and delivery schedules to meet client expectations. - Assigning drivers to routes and ensuring they have the necessary documentation and instructions. - Communicating regularly with drivers to monitor progress and handle any issues that arise. - Ensuring vehicles are loaded legally and efficiently, considering weight restrictions and cargo safety. - Verifying that all shipments comply with Canadian transportation regulations. Qualifications required for this role include: - Prior experience in route planning and scheduling - Strong communication and coordination skills - Knowledge of Canadian transportation regulations - Ability to work evening, night, and rotational shifts with weekend availability This full-time position offers benefits such as paid sick time, paid time off, and a yearly bonus.
