Role Overview

The FP&A AVP (India) leads the India-based Corporate Advisory function and directly manages Pod Leads who support FP&A and Controllership deliverables for more than 100 US portfolio clients. Unlike traditional FP&A roles that manage the finances of a single company, this role is responsible for leading teams that analyse, model, and report on the finances and performance of multiple client organizations. This person will act as the operational and technical bridge between US Corporate leadership and day-to-day India execution—ensuring that Exbo’s modelling, budgeting, reporting, and management standards are fully adopted across all India pods.

Key Responsibilities

FP&A & Reporting Execution Oversight

• Oversee delivery of monthly FP&A and Controllership outputs for 100+ client companies, including:

– Budget vs Actuals

– Variance analysis

– Monthly reporting packages

– Executive and board presentation decks

– Financial model updates, forecasting, and scenario planning

– 13-week cash flow forecasting

– KPI, margin, and unit economics reporting

• Ensure Pod Leads maintain accuracy, executive-level storytelling, and decision-useful

reporting.

Qualifications & Skills

• CA / CFA/ CPA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification.
• 8–10+ years in FP&A, financial modelling, strategic finance, or similar roles. In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proven experience leading teams or managing FP&A Pods.
• Deep modelling experience and strong executive reporting capabilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong analytical abilities; experience with NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to work effectively across global teams.
• Strong attention to detail, professional integrity, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Financial Modelling (3-statement, driver-based, and scenario models)

Work Model

This is a full-time position that starts immediately. We maintain a hybrid and flexible work model that balances remote work with in-person collaboration from our Kolkata office.
