Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Contracts and Claims Manager to oversee and manage contractual and claims-related aspects of the Solar Cell Manufacturing Plant construction projects at Tuticorin. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in contract administration, claims management, and dispute resolution within large-scale industrial or infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and manage contracts, subcontracts, and service agreements across project stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, legal requirements, and company policies
• Monitor contractor performance and manage contractual communications and change requests
• Identify potential claims and disputes, prepare detailed claim documentation, and support resolution processes
• Handle contract variations, extensions of time (EOTs), and cost implications with proactive risk assessment
• Coordinate with project, legal, procurement, and finance teams to align contract strategies and policies
• Support tender and bid evaluation processes from a contractual perspective
• Prepare and present contract status reports, claims registers, and risk mitigation strategies to senior management
• Maintain organized contract records, correspondence, and legal documentation

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Law, Quantity Surveying, or related discipline
• 8-10 years of experience in contract and claims management within large EPC, industrial, or infrastructure projects
• Strong understanding of Indian and international contracting practices (FIDIC knowledge is a plus)
• Experience in handling contractual matters across multidisciplinary engineering and construction domains
• Excellent negotiation, drafting, analytical, and dispute resolution skills
• Familiarity with ERP/project management tools such as SAP, Primavera, or MS Project
• Willingness to travel to project sites (Tuticorin & Oragadam) periodically
