Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Compliance professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in compliance, with a particular focus on RBI compliances for Non-Banking Financial Companies (NBFCs). The role also involves managing compliance related to the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA), the Companies Act, SEBI various statutory regulations, and compliances associated with equity and debt raises.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and ensure compliance with RBI regulations specific to the NBFCs.
  • Manage and monitor compliance with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) and the Companies Act.
  • Handle various statutory compliances, ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee and manage compliances related to equity and debt raises.
  • Review commercial agreements and financial agreements and provide relevant legal support to business
  • Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures across the organization.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure ongoing compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Serve as a liaison with regulatory bodies and ensure timely submission of reports and documentation.
  • Provide training and guidance to internal teams on compliance matters.
  • Stay updated with changes in laws and regulations that may affect the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Adequate and relevant experience in compliance management, with a strong focus on RBI regulations for NBFCs.
  • Must be a CS qualified.
  • Extensive knowledge of MCA regulations, the Companies Act, and statutory compliances.
  • Experience in managing compliance related to equity and debt raises.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Qualified Company Secretary
  • Prior experience in a financial services organization, particularly an NBFC, is highly desirable
