What you’ll do:
- Tell powerful stories that spotlight our people-led, tech-powered culture, shape behaviors, foster pride and belonging and drive measurable business impact
- Deliver campaigns: Work cross-functionally to conceptualize, support and execute multi-channel campaigns that shape perceptions and inspire action
- Elevate events and experiences: Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality site-level events and experiences—from townhalls, to people and culture events to technology and flagship events
- Manage a multi-channel internal communications ecosystem: Create high-quality, multi-format content for diverse audiences, that’s timely, relevant and resonates across our internal platforms
- Boost engagement and impact: Drive associate engagement through creative communication strategies, experiences and data-backed insights
- Bring our brand to life: Elevate storytelling through high-trust, high-impact, brand aligned assets and experiences that reflect Walmart’s voice, visual identity and associate value proposition
- Boldly innovate and experiment: Bring fresh ideas, creativity and a test-and-learn mindset to keep channels, content and experiences relevant and engaging
- Collaborate deeply: Earn stakeholder trust as an advisor and thought partner. Scale cross-functional partnerships with internal teams and external partners/agencies to deliver high-quality, timely output
What you’ll bring:
- Experience: 10 years in corporate communications, content strategy, or internal communications—preferably in tech or retail
- Education: Bachelor’s/master’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Literature, or related field (preferred but not mandatory)
- Expertise:
- Writing for diverse audiences including senior leadership
- Crafting campaigns across technology and culture themes
- Managing internal campaigns and global projects
- Working with creative agencies and editorial teams
- Navigating global/multi-cultural environments
- Understanding of the brand voice and identity
- Skills:
- Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills, a keen eye for detail
- Strategic thinking with a bias for action
- Strong project management and stakeholder engagement
- Familiarity with digital platforms and creative tools
