Role Brief: As a Manager - Business Development at Goodera, you will lead sales initiatives to foster growth and widen our client base. This role is crucial in propelling the company's business expansion through strategic sales efforts and effective collaboration with senior leadership, particularly with the CXOs (e.g., VP Sales, Chief Strategy Officer, CSR Head, and others). You will be responsible for managing end-to-end sales cycles, crafting impactful proposals and pitches, and working closely with cross-functional teams to secure high-value deals. Key Responsibilities: - Lead sales activities for Goodera by proactively initiating calls, meetings, and discussions with new prospects, companies, CSR teams, and other stakeholders. - Monitor and track sales activities to ensure progress in sales and closing cycles, reporting to the Head of Sales and other stakeholders. - Assist in drafting business proposals, sales pitches, presentations, reference material, and other necessary documents. - Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with management, staff, and clients, meeting all quotas for various sales activities. - Manage complete sales cycles, create metric-based tracking of proposals and targets, and assist in closing high-ticket opportunities with the Delivery team. - Continuously evaluate sales methods and strategies, adjusting as needed to achieve sales targets. - Develop effective sales approaches and activities to build a high-quality pipeline, improve the close rate, and maintain a controlled sales cycle for Goodera's offerings. - Stay informed about industry trends, market changes, competition movements, and client developments that impact sales opportunities and targets. - Attend conferences and networking events for lead generation, competition analysis, and to establish Goodera's brand within the industry. Required Skills and Qualifications: - Minimum 8 years of experience in client-facing roles within the social sector, CSR, or NGOs. - Willingness to travel as needed. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to present ideas, approaches, and solutions effectively. - Passion for social impact and a belief in the power of purpose-led engagement of the workforce. - Strong analytical abilities, both quantitative and qualitative. - Proactive mindset, high energy level, perseverance, humility, and collaborative behavior to drive the team and organization forward. - Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
