Job Summary:

Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities:

New Business Acquisition

• Identify, prospect, and acquire new merchants for payment gateway solutions.
  
• Drive

  outbound sales

  through cold calling, email outreach, networking, and field visits.
• Build a strong sales pipeline and consistently achieve monthly/quarterly acquisition targets.
  

Sales & Revenue Growth

• Present, pitch, and demonstrate PG solutions to merchants across industries.
  
• Negotiate commercials, close deals, and onboard new clients.
  
• Ensure seamless merchant onboarding by coordinating with internal teams.
  

Market Research & Strategy

• Track market trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs.
  
• Recommend improvements in product offerings based on market feedback.
  

Collaboration

• Work closely with product, operations, and merchant support teams to ensure a smooth onboarding journey.
  
• Provide accurate reports on lead status, conversion, and sales forecasting.
  

Must-Have Skills & Experience:

• 5–8 years of experience

  in Business Development or Sales.

• Mandatory experience in Payment Gateway (PG) sales

  or fintech merchant acquisition.

• Strong outbound sales experience

  (cold calling, field sales, lead generation).
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding acquisition targets.
  
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  
• Self-driven, target-oriented, and entrepreneurial mindset.
  

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience in selling fintech products such as POS, UPI solutions, payouts, payment links, etc.
  
• Exposure to fast-paced startup or fintech environments.
