Maintenance Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of elevators and escalators.
• Lead, train, and evaluate a team of field technicians and maintenance staff.
• Plan, schedule, and assign preventive and corrective maintenance tasks to ensure uptime and service quality.
• Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety, legal, and company standards.
• Liaise with clients for service requests, issue resolution, and customer satisfaction.
• Prepare and maintain service reports, maintenance logs, inventory records, and related documentation.
• Ensure all work is carried out with strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
• Identify and recommend process improvements for maintenance efficiency and reliability.
• Support in the recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training of maintenance technicians.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and provide technical guidance during breakdowns.
• Monitor and manage spare parts, tools, and equipment inventory.

Requirements:

• ITI/Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years’ experience in elevator/escalator maintenance, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
• Strong technical knowledge of elevator and escalator systems, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance methods.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Good communication skills in [English, Hindi, and/or local language as needed].
• Computer proficiency (MS Office, service reporting tools, etc.).
• Thoroughly familiar with safety standards and statutory norms (IS, EN, etc.) relevant to elevators and escalators.
