Maintenance Supervisor

As an Elevator and Escalator Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities of elevators and escalators. Your key responsibilities will include: - Supervising and coordinating the daily maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of elevators and escalators. - Leading, training, and evaluating a team of field technicians and maintenance staff. - Planning, scheduling, and assigning preventive and corrective maintenance tasks to ensure uptime and service quality. - Conducting site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety, legal, and company standards. - Liaising with clients for service requests, issue resolution, and customer satisfaction. - Preparing and maintaining service reports, maintenance logs, inventory records, and related documentation. - Ensuring all work is carried out with strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations. - Identifying and recommending process improvements for maintenance efficiency and reliability. - Supporting in the recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training of maintenance technicians. - Responding promptly to emergencies and providing technical guidance during breakdowns. - Monitoring and managing spare parts, tools, and equipment inventory. Qualifications required for this role include: - ITI/Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics Engineering, or related field. - 4+ years of experience in elevator/escalator maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role. - Strong technical knowledge of elevator and escalator systems, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance methods. - Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills. - Good communication skills in English, Hindi, and/or local language as needed. - Computer proficiency (MS Office, service reporting tools, etc.). - Thorough familiarity with safety standards and statutory norms (IS, EN, etc.) relevant to elevators and escalators.,
