Maintenance Engineer

Job Title: Machine Tool Technology & Maintenance EngineerDepartment: Engineering / Maintenance Reports To: Maintenance Engineer Location:Faridabad Job Summary:We are looking for a proactive Machine Tool Technology & Maintenance Engineer to ensure the smooth functioning and upkeep of our production and testing machinery. The role involves preventive and breakdown maintenance of CNC/VMC machines, conventional tools, and specialized test equipment. The engineer will play a key role in minimizing downtime, optimizing machine efficiency, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to ensure seamless operations in the manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities:Carry out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of CNC, VMC, conventional machine tools, and test equipment used in manufacturing. Monitor machine health and implement TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) practices to improve reliability and reduce downtime. Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues. Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety and quality standards. Maintain maintenance logs, spare part inventory, and breakdown history records. Support production by ensuring availability of machines during critical manufacturing & testing operations. Coordinate with external vendors for machine calibration, servicing, and spare procurement. Assist in new machine/tool installations and commissioning. Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring failures and implement corrective actions. Train operators and technicians on basic machine care and preventive checks. Qualifications & Skills:B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering. 3–6 years of experience in machine tool maintenance in a manufacturing industry. Hands-on knowledge of CNC/VMC controllers (Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, etc.). Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical troubleshooting. Exposure to calibration and testing equipment maintenance is preferred. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and wiring diagrams.
