Job Description

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer – Robotic Systems Department: Maintenance / Engineering Work Mode: Onsite | Full-time Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer with hands-on experience in robotic assembly systems to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on advanced automation equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of robotic systems including vision systems, PLCs, drives, and sensing devices in a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities:1. Preventive Maintenance Perform routine scheduled maintenance on robotic assembly equipment. Ensure optimal equipment performance and extend equipment life through regular servicing. 2. Troubleshooting and Repairs Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues in robotic systems. Conduct PLC troubleshooting and resolve communication errors between multiple PLC systems. 3. Vision System Maintenance Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot machine vision systems used in quality control and product inspection. Calibrate and verify proper function to ensure high accuracy. 4. Drive Systems Maintenance Maintain and troubleshoot Siemens and SEW drive systems for motors and automated motion control. Identify performance issues and implement effective solutions. 5. Sensing Devices Install, inspect, and service various industrial sensors (proximity, photoelectric, etc.) used in robotic assembly. Ensure accurate operation for system safety and efficiency. 6. Electrical Hoists Maintain and repair electrical hoists used in the production line. Conduct safety inspections and implement corrective measures for safe usage. Required Skills & Qualifications: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related engineering discipline. 2–5 years of experience in robotic systems maintenance or industrial automation. Hands-on knowledge of PLC systems (Siemens, Allen Bradley, etc.). Experience with servo drives, frequency converters, and industrial communication protocols. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in high-pressure environments. Familiarity with vision inspection systems and sensor calibration. Preferred Qualifications: Certification or training in robotics maintenance or industrial automation. Working experience in automotive, electronics, or heavy manufacturing industries.
