Maintenance Associate

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer – Robotics & Automation Department: Engineering / Maintenance Employment Type: Full-time | Onsite Experience Level: 2–5 years (preferred) Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Maintenance Engineer to support the upkeep and optimization of robotic assembly systems. This role involves executing preventive maintenance, diagnosing issues in PLC-controlled systems, and ensuring reliable operation of advanced automation components such as drives, vision systems, and electrical hoists. Key Responsibilities:1. Preventive Maintenance: Conduct scheduled maintenance on robotic assembly machinery. Ensure equipment uptime and prolong equipment lifespan through systematic servicing. 2. Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose and resolve breakdowns and malfunctions in robotic systems. Troubleshoot PLC systems and resolve communication issues across multiple controllers. 3. Vision System Maintenance: Maintain, calibrate, and repair vision inspection systems used on assembly lines. Ensure system accuracy for real-time quality control and defect detection. 4. Drive Systems: Service and troubleshoot Siemens and SEW drive systems. Address motor and drive issues to maintain continuous and efficient production operations. 5. Sensing Devices: Install and maintain proximity, photoelectric, and other sensing devices. Ensure sensors operate accurately and comply with safety protocols. 6. Electrical Hoists: Perform inspection, maintenance, and repairs on electrical hoists. Guarantee safe lifting operations and minimal downtime in material handling. Requirements: Educational Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field. Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in industrial equipment maintenance, preferably in robotics or automation environments. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of PLC systems (e.g., Siemens, Allen Bradley). Familiarity with servo and variable frequency drives. Experience with machine vision systems and sensor technology. Understanding of electropneumatic systems is a plus. Soft Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication and documentation skills. Preferred Experience: Automotive, electronics, or high-volume manufacturing industry background.
