Job Title: Robotic Maintenance Technician / Engineer
Department: Maintenance / Automation
Reporting To: Maintenance Manager / Engineering Supervisor
Job Purpose: Responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of robotic assembly lines through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of critical equipment, including PLC systems, drive systems, vision systems, sensors, and electrical hoists.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:1. Preventive Maintenance: Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on robotic assembly equipment.
Ensure optimal performance and extend the life of machinery and equipment.
2. Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose and repair faults in robotic systems.
Perform PLC troubleshooting, including resolving communication issues between different PLCs (Siemens, Allen Bradley, etc.).
3. Vision System Maintenance: Maintain and troubleshoot vision systems used in the assembly process (Cognex, Keyence, Omron, etc.).
Ensure accurate quality control and error-free inspection.
4. Drive Systems: Troubleshoot and maintain Siemens Drives and SEW Drives.
Ensure drives operate smoothly for efficient production with minimal downtime.
5. Sensing Devices: Install, maintain, and troubleshoot various sensing devices like proximity sensors, photoelectric sensors, pressure sensors, etc.
Ensure proper functioning for safe and accurate operation of machines.
6. Electrical Hoists: Perform regular maintenance and repairs on electrical hoists.
Guarantee safe and reliable operation of lifting and material handling equipment.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Diploma / BE / BTech in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, or related field.
Experience:3 to 8 years of experience in industrial automation, robotic maintenance, or related areas.
Technical Skills: Proficient in PLC troubleshooting and programming basics.
Hands-on experience with Siemens Drives, SEW Drives, and communication networks.
Knowledge of vision systems troubleshooting.
Familiar with installation and maintenance of industrial sensors and hoists.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Other Requirements:
Willingness to work in shifts and during machine breakdown emergencies.
Maintain accurate maintenance records.
