Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Manage genset build readiness, including proto part procurement, build area preparation, and inventory management.
Coordinate with supply chain teams and readiness teams for proto parts movement and build readiness.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (CFT) and plant VPI build coordinator for build plans and drive execution.
Perform genset mechanical validation activities such as Noise, Vibration, Strain, and LAT testing.
Set up test rigs, acquire data, process results, and prepare reports.
Ensure proper use of sensors and instruments like microphones, accelerometers, thermocouples, and flowmeters.

Skills and Experience Required

BE or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
2 to 4 Years of in managing genset build readiness.
Hands-on experience in genset mechanical validation (Noise/Vibration/Strain/LAT).
Proficiency in test setup, data acquisition, data processing, and report preparation.
Software skills for testing:
B&K

Familiarity with data acquisition sensors (microphones, accelerometers, thermocouples, flowmeters).
Strong coordination and project management skills for build readiness.
