Job Description

Perform IC Engine calibration activities for meeting the specified performance and emission requirements. Selection and matching of appropriate engine sub-systems such as turbocharger, power cylinder components, fuel systems, etc. To analyse engine performance test data and make necessary design change decisions. To coordinate engine performance testing with cross-functional team including making parts available, test cell readiness, decisions on sensors / data logging, etc. Execute type approval / certification testing by being stationed at external test agencies / certification agencies. Perform analytical calculations / verifications of engine performance. To generate technical reports and maintain technical documentation. Integration of Exhaust Aftertreatment system with Engine. Knowledge of Emission test cycles (WHTC, WHSC,WNTE) Detect and resolve OBD Electric Faults, Components Monitoring, SCR Calibration.
