Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Scheduling

Develop
baseline and detailed project schedules
using
Primavera P6 / MS Project
for EHV transmission line projects (132 kV / 220 kV / 400 kV / 765 kV).
Prepare
work breakdown structure (WBS)
covering survey, foundations, erection, stringing, testing, and commissioning.
Identify
critical path activities
and resource loading for effective schedule control.

Progress Monitoring & Reporting

Track daily, weekly, and monthly project progress against baseline.
Prepare
DPRs, weekly progress reports, S-curves, and catch-up plans
.
Analyze schedule variances and recommend corrective actions.
Support management reviews with
dashboard reports
.

Coordination & Interface Management

Coordinate with
engineering, procurement, construction, ROW, and QA/QC teams
to align schedules.
Integrate
procurement and delivery schedules
(towers, conductors, insulators, hardware).
Interface with external stakeholders such as
utilities, consultants, and clients
.

Regulatory & Approval Tracking

Track approvals and clearances including:

PTCC
Railway crossings
Aviation clearance
Forest & ROW permissions

Incorporate approval timelines into project schedules and risk plans.

Risk & Delay Analysis

Identify potential schedule risks related to:

ROW issues
Monsoon / terrain challenges
Material delays

Conduct
delay analysis (EOT, impact analysis)
and support claims documentation.
Develop
recovery and mitigation plans
.

MIS & Documentation

Maintain planning databases, progress photographs, and construction logs.
Support preparation of
billing milestones
and schedule-linked invoicing.
Ensure documentation compliance with contract requirements.
