About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager to oversee daily logistics activities, ensure

operational efficiency, manage teams, streamline processes, and drive service excellence. The

ideal candidate must have strong leadership abilities, deep logistics knowledge, and the ability

to handle high-pressure situations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operations Management

● Lead and supervise end-to-end logistics activities including dispatch, transportation,

warehousing, and customer service.

● Ensure timely pickups, deliveries, and overall operational efficiency.

● Optimize routes, fleet usage, manpower, and resources.

● Implement cost-saving strategies without compromising service quality.

2. Team Leadership

● Manage teams including dispatchers, coordinators, warehouse staff, and drivers.

● Assign daily tasks, monitor performance, and ensure SOPs are followed.

● Conduct training, coaching, and skill development sessions.

● Build a positive and performance-driven work culture.

3. Process Improvement

● Improve standard operating procedures (SOPs).

● Identify operational gaps and implement corrective actions.

● Use data-driven decision-making for productivity and quality improvement.

4. Client & Stakeholder Coordination

● Act as the escalation point for clients, drivers, and internal teams.

● Ensure high customer satisfaction and quick issue resolution.

● Coordinate with sales, accounts, and management for seamless operations.

5. Compliance & Documentation

● Ensure compliance with company policies, safety rules, transportation laws, and industry

standards.

● Oversee documentation such as BOLs, PODs, invoices, compliance reports, and audit

records.

● Maintain accuracy in TMS/WMS systems.

6. Performance Tracking & Reporting

● Monitor daily KPIs such as on-time delivery, load fulfillment, productivity, cost per mile,

and fleet utilization.

● Prepare weekly and monthly reports for management review.

● Set performance benchmarks and monitor team output.

7. Vendor & Carrier Management

● Maintain strong relationships with carriers, transport vendors, warehouse partners, and

other stakeholders.

● Negotiate rates and contracts while ensuring service reliability.

Required Skills & Qualifications

● 3–7 years of experience in logistics operations, dispatch, transportation,

warehousing, or supply chain management.

● Strong leadership and team-management abilities.

● Excellent knowledge of logistics systems, TMS/WMS, tracking tools, and industry

workflows.

● Strong communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.

● Ability to work under pressure and manage complex operations.

● Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
