Legal Manager

Key Responsibility -

1. Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a wide range of commercial contracts, including IT services agreements, platform licensing, SaaS agreements, procurement contracts, and partnership agreements, ensuring they align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

2. Provide pragmatic, solutions-oriented legal advice to internal stakeholders on contractual risks, obligations, and negotiation strategies, balancing legal risk with commercial and operational priorities.

3. Collaborate closely with IT, procurement, finance, sales, and operational teams to ensure

contracts are both commercially and legally sound, while supporting efficient contract lifecycle management — including amendments, renewals, performance reviews, and dispute resolution

when necessary.

4. Leverage smart contract management tools and technologies to streamline contract reviews,

enhance accuracy, and accelerate turnaround times, while driving consistency across contract processes.

5. Maintain and continuously improve a contract playbook with pre-approved model clauses, ensuring all new and renewal agreements follow established standards, and obtaining necessary internal approvals for deviations.

6. Monitor and interpret applicable laws and regulations, advising on required updates to internal policies, processes, and practices to ensure ongoing compliance with evolving legal and regulatory frameworks.

7. Establish and maintain a centralized repository of key contractual terms and obligations, ensuring relevant stakeholders are educated on their responsibilities and drive ongoing compliance monitoring.

Qualification & Skill

• 8+ years of strong understanding of corporate law, regulatory compliance, and legal risk

management strategies. Prior experience in-house within an IT organization, technology

company, or software provider is highly desirable.

• Proven critical thinking skills and a problem-solving mindset, with the ability to assess complex

legal and commercial issues and provide practical, solutions-oriented advice.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to draft clear, concise contracts

• Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to balance legal risks with business objectives in a fast-

paced, technology-driven environment.

• Ability to work independently, prioritize workload, and manage multiple matters simultaneously.
