As GoKwik expands its footprint across global markets, ensuring legal robustness and compliance is central to our growth. The Legal team plays a pivotal role in safeguarding GoKwik’s interests across commercial contracts, fintech regulations, and data protection frameworks. As a Legal Intern (NLS), you’ll gain hands-on exposure to the intersection of business, law, and technology, supporting key functions that enable GoKwik to scale responsibly and sustainably.This internship offers a unique opportunity to work closely with senior legal leadership on complex, high-impact projects across corporate, commercial, and regulatory domains.
What You’ll Own
- Contract Management – Draft, review, and vet commercial contracts such as MSAs, NDAs, SaaS Agreements, and Partnership Agreements.
- Legal Research – Conduct in-depth research on corporate, fintech, and data protection laws (including the IT Act, DPDP Act, and RBI guidelines).
- Compliance & Governance – Support in maintaining compliance registers, legal trackers, and audit documentation.
- Advisory Support – Prepare concise legal summaries and internal policy notes on evolving regulatory issues.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration – Liaise with Finance, Product, Operations, and Tech teams for contract execution and compliance support.
- Intellectual Property – Assist in managing trademark and copyright filings, ensuring timely renewals and protection measures.
Who You Are
- 5th-year student enrolled in the B.A. LL.B (Hons.) program or a fresh law graduate from National Law School or other premier Law Universities
- Strong academic background with exceptional research and analytical skills.
- Excellent command over written and spoken English.
- Prior exposure to corporate, technology, or fintech law internships preferred.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple assignments independently.
