Role Overview

Key Responsibilities


Competency Mapping & Framework Development

  • Identify and define core, functional, and behavioral competencies required for faculty and staff.
  • Develop and update competency frameworks aligned with departmental and university objectives.
  • Conduct competency gap assessments and recommend interventions.


Training Need Analysis (TNA)

  • Conduct regular training needs assessments through surveys, interviews, performance reviews, and feedback sessions.
  • Analyze skill gaps at individual, departmental, and institutional levels.
  • Prepare annual and quarterly training calendars based on identified needs.


Learning & Development Programs

  • Design, plan, and execute training modules (faculty development, pedagogy enhancement, leadership skills, soft skills, and technical upskilling).
  • Collaborate with internal and external trainers to deliver high-quality programs.
  • Leverage e-learning platforms, workshops, and blended learning solutions.


Monitoring & Evaluation

  • Develop KPIs and feedback mechanisms to measure training effectiveness.
  • Track learning outcomes and suggest continuous improvement strategies.
  • Maintain records of training programs, participant feedback, and impact analysis.


Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partner with academic leaders to align training with curriculum delivery and research goals.
  • Support HR in aligning L&D initiatives with talent management, performance appraisal, and career progression.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within UITTR.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Master’s degree in Education, Human Resource Management, Psychology, or related field.
  • Certification in Training & Development, Competency Mapping, or Instructional Design preferred.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in Learning & Development, preferably in higher education or training institutions.
  • Strong knowledge of TNA tools, competency frameworks, and modern training methodologies.
