Job Description

Role: L&D Specialist (Soft Skills, Coordination & New Joinee Training)

This role is responsible for managing end-to-end coordination, execution, and reporting of both technical and soft skills training programs, including new joinee induction. The specialist will act as a key liaison between trainers, departments, and the L&D Manager ensuring smooth training operations, data accuracy, and continuous improvement in training quality and participation.

Responsibilities :

Planning & Coordination

  • Coordinate with technical and soft skills trainers for topics, schedules, and participant alignment.
  • Collect departmental training needs and consolidate inputs from 7 technical trainers.
  • Prepare and maintain training calendars, nomination lists, and master sheets.
  • Schedule sessions, draft invites, block calendars, and ensure all logistics are in place.

Training Execution & Facilitation

• Manage end-to-end execution of soft skills, technical, and new-joinee training programs.

  • Actively support and gradually take lead in facilitating new-joinee and soft skills training sessions.

• Coordinate and support technical on boarding during the induction process.

  • Track attendance, ensure participation, and follow up with absentees and defaulters in a timely manner.

Data Management & Reporting

  • Upload attendance and training data on LMS and maintain accuracy.
  • Collect and analyze feedback from participants and trainers.
  • Prepare training summaries, dashboards, and weekly/monthly reports. • Track compliance and highlight red flags or participation gaps to the L&D Manager

Quality & Improvement

  • Randomly sample sessions to assess quality, engagement, and trainer effectiveness.
  • Review training materials and LMS uploads for completeness and consistency.
  • Conduct training effectiveness analysis and benchmark industry best practices.
  • Support Quality and Retention-focused learning projects end-to-end.

Ad-hoc & Administrative Support

  • Manage folder structures, calendar upkeep, and video uploads/editing as required.
  • Provide weekly status updates to the L&D Manager on progress, challenges, and recommendations.
