Eligibility: Diploma in Electrical engineering Role: CCR Engineer HV/EHV Substations (132 kV–765 kV) / Shift Duty Purpose : Ensure safe operations of IndiGrid’s high-voltage substations and transmission lines, remotely managed from the Central Control Room (CCR). Core Duties Substation Operations & Monitoring Operate and monitor all substation elements via SCADA. Respond to alarms, trips, and faults, logging issues in Maximo. Outage Coordination & PTW Management Coordinate real-time and emergency outages with RLDC, SLDC, RTAMC, NTPC, and maintenance teams. Handle PTW issuance and clearance effectively. Regulatory Compliance Ensure full compliance with grid codes and statutory requirements (RLDC, CERC, CEA). Submit data on RLDC trip/outage portals as required. Operational Documentation: Maintain accurate records in Maximo and Excel. Key Skills required: Strong understanding of SLD, power flow, electrical interlocks, and operation of isolators, ICTs, reactors, and circuit breakers (CBs). Proficiency in SCADA operations and alarm interpretation. Experience with Maximo or similar CMMS, and expertise in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Ability to manage isolation procedures for CB/CT/CVT/lines, reactors, and ICTs, including PTW issuance. Knowledge of HIRA/JSA and emergency handling protocols. Excellent written and spoken English for nationwide coordination.
Role & responsibilities Conduct route alignment and topographical surveys along the transmission line corridor. Perform tower spotting, profiling, and pegging as per engineering specifications. Use GPS, Total Station, Theodolite, and other surveying instruments for precise measurements. Prepare and maintain survey records, drawings, maps, and reports. Coordinate with the engineering and construction teams to provide accurate land data. Validate survey data against approved drawings and identify discrepancies. Liaise with local authorities, landowners, and other stakeholders for right-of-way (ROW) and access requirements. Assist in land acquisition and ROW clearance processes through accurate land demarcation. Ensure compliance with safety standards while working in the field. Submit regular progress reports to the site management team . Education & Experience Diploma in Civil Engineering or ITI in Surveying; certification in land surveying is an added advantage. 5-7 years of experience in surveying, preferably in transmission line or infrastructure projects. Proficient in using GPS, DGPS, Total Station, AutoCAD, and other survey-related software. Good knowledge of land documentation, topographical features, and terrain challenges. Strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret technical drawings. Ability to work independently in remote project locations. Good communication and coordination skills. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Work with Project Manager/ Construction Head to develop, drive, and implement project goals that includes timelines, budgets, resources, and risk assessment. Responsible to execute the work as per Approved drawings, Technical Specification, Safety and Quality guidelines and approved work procedure. Monitor performance of the Contractor / Sub-contractor and identify, raise any quality / workmanship concerns / regulations. Time to time providing Information to the management, relating to project financial and technical difficulties. Perform Internal Audits and Site Surveillance Audits. Establish the methods by which all field tests are administered and develop various ways to monitor the quality of test. Maintain accurate project documentation including progress report, JMC, raw material records, Verify Consumption statements and other documents related to project execution as per company policy. Coordination with different agencies, ROW, liaising work, all statutory proposal and clearances as required for sub-station and transmission line. Coordination with D&E team to Implement Design Criteria to meet as per site requirement & forecast technical difficulties in implementation of design criteria at field. Monitor working man hours for departmental works and subcontracted works. Establishing Site Infrastructure, Material Storage Arrangements, EHS Requirements, Statutory requirements related to Labor laws. Detailing the Budget Costs that will be required for the project Construction activities and determine what is within the budget and claim settlement. Controlling, monitoring and liaise with contractors Engineers / Labors / Materials etc. to address day-to-day quality issues and support QA/QC Manager/Engineer, to meet Quality, Time, and Cost. Project closure in full as per contractual condition including material reconciliation, punch point closure and financial reconciliation as per contract agreement.
