We are Looking For Lean Manager for a German MNC,


Experience : 10 plus Years,


Qualification : BE Mech



Roles and Responsibilities :`-


 The Lean/GROWTTH Specialist actively overall leads and supports Lean/GROWTTH initiatives at the Chennai site.

 This role involves leading, guiding, coordinating, energizing, and executing Lean activities and projects to elevate the organization’s proficiency in Lean implementation.

The specialist plans, organizes, executes, and follows up on improvement activities to establish Lean systems throughout the Chennai facility there by creating a sense of urgency about the Lean/GROWTTH process and how crucial its outcomes are.

Act as an entrepreneur on matters related to Lean/GROWTTH; lead, guide and energize the respective plant, lead center or site.

 Promote and Implement Lean/GROWTTH processes – develop and get LEAN/GROWTTH further along the evolution stage of the site.

 Coordinate, drive and execute Operational Excellence initiatives locally.

 Help identify opportunities for improvement through Plant KPI’s monitoring and Value Stream Mapping execution. (KPI – Key Performance Indicator) 3. Scope : Internal Interfaces Global – CSS GROWTTH Management and CSS site Managers and other stakeholders Business – SSS Management Team + All Managers of departments & All stakeholders. External Interfaces Customers 4. Experience & Qualification : 5. Roles & Responsibilities :

 Facilitate kaizen teams, thus plan, organize, conduct, and follow up kaizen events, ensuring the proper use of Lean/GROWTTH tools

 Conduct Lean Basic training.

 Track and report kaizen results + support coordination of project savings reporting.

 Actively support organization in Lean systems implementation based on the adequate application of Lean/GROWTTH methodologies.

 Host outside kaizen participants.

 Communicate GROWTTH related information.

 Follow up on Qualification Matrix to support and promote employees’ GROWTTH certifications.

 Coordinate consolidation of evidence for RPA audits. (RPA – Rapid Plant Assessment)

 Support documentation of major and minor kaizens.

 Support the identification, planning, and implementation of CAPEX projects that drive Lean/GROWTTH improvements.

 Co-ordinate with Head HSE in root cause near-miss analysis, machine safety checks, fulfilment of compliances, Safety briefing & other aspects wherever required.

 Responsibility of safety

 To conduct Hazard identification and risk assessment Safety briefing and Titanic root cause analysis and Aspect Impact

 To ensure Safety tour is conducted with your team.

 To ensure participation in Safety committee meeting.

 To ensure participation in internal audits

 To review legal requirements

 Adhere to corporate Health safety Environment standards

 To report accident near miss and incidents

 To coordinate with emergency team members during any emergency & mock drill.

 Good and proven Project Management and Leadership skills

 Good and proven training skills

 Developed excellent communication and diplomacy skills used to direct, persuade, and influence others when in training/negotiation situations.

 Confident, self-motivated, extremely driven to succeed, and track record of past success in similar roles.  Must be enthusiastic, dynamism and have a natural desire for teamwork

 Must have a passion for continuous improvement and have proven capabilities in problem solving and facilitation techniques (outset in Lean Root Cause Problem Solving techniques and tools) Skills & Knowledge:

 Broad and comprehensive understanding of tools/concepts and principles within own area of responsibility.

 Have great convincing and pleasant personality with a constructive technical approach

 Entrepreneurial mindset, with clear thinking

 Experience with change management processes

 Good cultural understanding across countries

 MS office knowledge especially Excel, Word, PPT, Outlook etc.

 Strong language skills verbal and written in English mandatory; German of advantage.

 Able to take business decisions advantageous to the EBKE in stressed situations

 Experience with ERP software (SAP)

 To perform Hazard identification & risk assessment.

 Root cause analysis for incidents.

 Knowledge on Legal requirements related with process.

 Knowledge about Hazardous waste management.
