Job Description

Title : Regional Head (Solar Sales)
Experience : 7 - 15 YearsCTC : Upto 9.6 LpaStrategic Planning & Sales Management• Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets for solar products in the North and East regions.• Analyze market trends (including government policies like PM Suryaghar and state-specific regulations), competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.• Prepare and manage the regional budget and annual sales plans, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with company objectives.• Forecast quarterly and annual sales and profits, and report on regional sales results and pipeline status to senior management. Team Leadership & Development• Lead, mentor, and motivate both B2B and B2C sales teams to ensure strong performance and the achievement of sales quotas.• Oversee the recruitment, hiring, and training of new sales employees and team leaders within the region.• Conduct regular performance reviews and sales meetings, providing feedback and implementing training programs to enhance the team's skills and product knowledge.• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement, resolving any internal conflicts or issues promptly. Business Development & Client Relations• Establish and expand a robust channel and distribution network for solar inverters, engaging with dealers, distributors, system integrators, and local entrepreneurs.• Develop new key accounts in the institutional (B2B) segment, including liaisoning for tender work with nodal agencies and bulk buyers.• Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders (OEMs, partners, suppliers) to ensure customer retention and secure recurring business.• Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation (including BTL activities and local events) to negotiation, contract closure, and collections. Operational Oversight• Ensure seamless customer experience by collaborating with internal engineering, project execution, and after-sales service teams.• Utilize CRM systems effectively to track sales activities, manage pipelines, and make data-driven decisions.• Monitor inventory and product assortment in collaboration with relevant teams to optimize stock levels and boost sales.• Travel extensively across the designated territories in North and East India to oversee operations, meet clients, and support the on-ground team
