Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Interior Designer – Project Manager to lead and manage interior and architectural design projects from concept to completion. This role combines creative design expertise with strong project management and client coordination skills. The ideal candidate will oversee design development, technical documentation, budgeting, scheduling, vendor coordination, and on-site execution to ensure design excellence and timely delivery.

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & Creative Development

• Develop interior design concepts and architectural layouts aligned with client requirements, brand identity, and functional needs.
• Create mood boards, design presentations, and material palettes.
• Collaborate with architects, MEP consultants, and structural teams to ensure design integration.
• Oversee design detailing, 3D visualization, and material selection.

Project Management

• Manage multiple interior and architectural projects simultaneously from concept to handover.
• Prepare and maintain project timelines, budgets, and work schedules.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure seamless communication and workflow.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to design intent.
• Manage procurement, vendor sourcing, and approval of materials and finishes.
• Ensure project documentation and deliverables meet quality and compliance standards.

Client & Stakeholder Coordination

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Present design concepts and project updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Address client feedback, design revisions, and change requests effectively.

Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor junior designers, draftsmen, and support staff.
• Delegate tasks and ensure adherence to design and documentation standards.
• Promote a culture of creativity, collaboration, and accountability.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
• 5–10 years of professional experience in interior design and project management (residential, commercial, hospitality, or retail).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Photoshop, and MS Office; knowledge of project management tools (Asana, Trello, or similar) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of materials, finishes, lighting, and construction techniques.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Attention to detail and a strong aesthetic sense.

Preferred Attributes

• Experience managing end-to-end interior fit-out projects.
• Knowledge of local building codes, safety standards, and sustainability practices.
• Vendor and site management experience.
• Certification in project management (PMP or equivalent) is an advantage.
