It ingests your business context, customer insights, and market signals to build a live Strategy Canvas, complete with Opportunity-Solution Trees, PRDs and a roadmap that syncs straight into Cursor, Jira or Linear. PMs cut the admin, non-PMs gain instant product thinking, and engineers finally get code with context. We are seeking a Lead Generation Specialist to help drive our user growth on a 12 month - Extendable contract. In this role, you will spearhead our outbound outreach to introduce Squad AI to potential users (primarily Product Managers, Heads of Product, and startup founders). Your goal is to generate interest, sign-ups, and demos for Squad AI. This is a remote position based in India, working closely with our UK team (some overlap in work hours will be needed). You will leverage your skills in prospecting and communication â and youâll even get to use Squad AI itself as part of the outreach process , tapping into our platform to craft tailored messages or identify potential pain points of prospects. If you have a background in sales development or growth, love connecting with people, and are excited by cutting-edge tech products, this role is for you. Key Responsibilities Identify target companies and individuals (product leaders, product managers in tech companies, startup founders in our target market). Build and refine a list of prospects through research on LinkedIn, industry forums, and other lead databases. Conduct cold outreach via LinkedIn messages, emails, and other channels to introduce Squad AI. Youâll personalise your communications â referencing how Squad AI can address specific challenges (for example, speeding up product research or automating documentation). Volume is important, but quality and tailoring of messages will set us apart. Initiate conversations with interested prospects, respond to their queries, and nurture them along. Your aim is to schedule product demo calls or sign them up for a free trial . Youâll work closely with the founders for technical questions, but you should be able to convey the core value prop on your own. As an interesting aspect of this role, you will use our own product, Squad AI, to assist in lead gen where possible. For instance, you could use Squad to brainstorm outreach strategies or to manage information about prospect pain points (turning feedback into insights). Essentially, youâll be a power user of the product while selling it, giving you an authentic perspective to share with prospects. Maintain an organised pipeline of leads. Document all interactions in our CRM (or even a simple tracker), ensuring we can track progress from initial contact to conversion. Follow up diligently and remind prospects as needed (without spamming). Communicate trends you observe in outreach. For example, if many product managers mention a particular challenge or competitor, share that with the team. Your on-the-ground insights will be valuable for marketing and product development While this is not a hardcore sales quota role, we will set reasonable targets such as number of qualified leads or demo bookings per week. You should be results-driven and motivated to meet these goals, with support from the team. Work with our marketing lead on any outbound campaigns or content. For instance, if we run a webinar or release a whitepaper, you might help invite prospects to those events as part of warming them up. Qualifications and Experience Ideally 2â4 years as a Lead Generation Specialist, Sales Development Representative (SDR), Appointment Setter, or similar role, especially targeting international clients . Experience in B2B SaaS or tech product outreach is a big plus. Fluent in written and spoken English. You can craft professional, personable messages and are equally comfortable speaking on the phone or video call when needed. You know how to hook someoneâs interest in a short message and build rapport over a conversation. (Preferred) Familiarity with product management or software development workflows. You donât need to be a product manager, but you should grasp the basics of what product teams do. This will help you speak the language of our prospects (e.g. understanding terms like roadmap, MVP, user research). Experience using CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, or even spreadsheets to track leads). Comfortable with LinkedIn Sales Navigator and email outreach tools. Since weâll provide access to Squad AI for your work, you should be eager to learn and use new software tools (and provide feedback on them). This is a remote role with a lot of autonomy. You should be proactive in managing your own workflow, disciplined with follow-ups, and creative in finding new leads or strategies. A track record of meeting or exceeding targets in a remote work setting would be ideal. Not every outreach will get a reply. You handle rejection or silence with professionalism and keep pushing.
