SaaS Sales Executive (Online Subscription Services) Company Overview Shakuniya Solutions Pvt Ltd is a fast-growing IT and software firm specializing in innovative Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and IT solutions designed for small-to-midsize businesses and enterprise organizations. We offer our products and services on an online subscription basis, focusing on recurring revenue and long-term customer success. Position Summary: The SaaS Sales Executive will be responsible for driving new subscription revenue by identifying, qualifying, and closing deals with prospective clients. This role requires a strong understanding of software technology, a consultative sales approach, and expertise in managing the full sales cycle in an online, subscription-based environment. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, tech-savvy, and focused on delivering value-based solutions. Key Responsibilities 1. Revenue Generation & Sales Cycle Management Prospecting and Lead Qualification: Generate new business opportunities through outbound efforts (cold calling, email, social media, and networking) and qualify inbound leads generated by marketing. Consultative Selling: Conduct deep-dive needs analysis to understand prospects' business challenges, pain points, and objectives, and effectively map our subscription products and services as the optimal solution. Product Demonstration: Deliver compelling, tailored online demonstrations and presentations of our software and IT solutions to key stakeholders. Negotiation and Closing: Own the entire sales cycle, including proposal creation, price negotiation, and skillfully closing subscription contracts to consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas. Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and progress within the CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot). 2. Customer Success and Growth Account Planning: Develop strategic sales plans for target accounts and industries to penetrate new markets. Cross-sell/Upsell: Identify opportunities within existing customer accounts to expand our footprint by promoting additional features, higher-tier subscriptions, or related services. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with prospects and new clients to foster trust and ensure high customer satisfaction and renewal rates. 3. Product and Market Expertise Technical Acumen: Maintain a deep and current technical knowledge of all company software products, services, and the competitive landscape. Market Feedback: Collaborate with the Product and Marketing teams to relay customer feedback, market trends, and competitive intelligence to help inform product development and sales strategy. Qualifications and Skills Requires 3+ years of proven sales experience, preferably selling online subscription services (SaaS) or B2B IT solutions. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets/quotas. Strong understanding of cloud solutions, subscription business models, and the technology sales cycle. Exceptional verbal and written communication, presentation, and active listening skills. Proficiency with CRM software and MS Office/Google Workspace. Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Preferred experience in value-based selling or Challenger Sales methodology.
