As a Key Account & Delivery Lead, you will lead and expand our strategic accounts, ensure superior delivery of recruitment services, drive client satisfaction, and build & mentor high-performing sourcing & delivery teams. This is a hands-on leadership role: you must think strategically AND be ready to execute — especially for senior and critical roles.
1.Client Relationship Management & Growth
o Act as the principal point of contact for strategic, high-value clients.
o Deeply understand clients’ business models, hiring strategies, growth plans, industry
/ Regulatory trends, and talent challenges.
o Forge long-term partnerships; maintain high levels of trust and credibility.
o Ensure client renewals and retention, anticipate risks, mitigate them proactively.
2. Delivery & Operational Excellence
oOwn end-to-end recruitment delivery for key accounts: sourcing, screening, interviews, assessment, offer negotiation, onboarding.
oSet, monitor and deliver on SLAs / KPIs: time-to-fill, candidate quality, candidate acceptance rates, retention / follow-up after placement.
o Maintain high quality of candidate shortlists, feedback loops, and ensure alignment with client expectations.
o Use dashboards, metrics, data analytics to monitor performance; drive continuous improvements.
o Quickly identify operational / delivery issues and take corrective actions (resources, process, client communication).
3. Team Leadership & Resource Management
o Lead, mentor, coach, and motivate recruiters / sourcing specialists / account managers.
o Ensure coverage of strategic accounts with the right bandwidth & skills. Allocate and reallocate resources based on priority and demand.
oPromote best practices: standardization, knowledge sharing, process documentation.
o Build team capability in delivering internationally benchmarked quality and speed.
4. Sourcing / Recruitment Hands-on Role
oHandle sourcing for senior / niche / high impact roles
oLeverage multiple sourcing channels: headhunting, LinkedIn & other networks, referrals, talent mapping, passive candidate outreach.
oEvaluate candidates for both technical competency and cultural fit. Prepare strong shortlists aligned with client needs.
oGive feedback and coaching to team members on sourcing strategy and execution.
5. Problem-Solving & Client Escalations
o Be escalation point for client issues: candidate quality, missed timelines, policies or contractual misalignments.
o Diagnose root causes of recurring problems and design process / policy interventions.
o Manage and negotiate SLAs / terms / fees with clients when required, balancing business / profitability and client satisfaction.
6. Strategic Account Planning & Business Development
oDevelop account plans for each key client: objectives, risks, growth potential, competitive landscape.
oForecast hiring pipelines, annual budgets, resource requirements.
o Stay current on industry / talent market trends and share insights with clients to establish Org as a trusted advisor.
7. Reporting & Stakeholder Communication
o Prepare & deliver regular reporting to clients: hiring status, pipelines, KPIs, issues, actions & results.
o Internally report to senior leadership on account health: revenue, margin, risk, satisfaction.
o Conduct business reviews (monthly / quarterly) with clients to align expectations; gather feedback; adjust plans.
10+ years in recruitment / executive search, preferably with experience in Contingency search and/or high value accounts.
Strong Client Management
Experience handling large / strategic clients; ability to influence senior stakeholders.
Delivery Excellence
Proven track record of consistently delivering against SLAs / KPIs in recruitment; quality hire metrics, time-to-fill etc.
Hands-on Sourcing Ability
Experience in direct sourcing, headhunting for senior roles; strong network and ability to map talent markets.
Team Leadership & People Management
Experience building / managing teams of recruiters / sourcing specialists; setting performance norms; coaching & mentoring.
Problem-Solving
Analytical mind; ability to identify bottlenecks, propose process improvements, adapt quickly.
