Job Description

Key Responsibilities:1. Documentation & Commercial Activities Prepare and issue Quotations, Proforma Invoices, and Purchase Orders (POs) as per client or project requirements. Coordinate with vendors for price collection, technical specifications, and order confirmation. Maintain accurate records of quotations, purchase orders, and correspondence. Support project billing and documentation related to material and service procurement. 2. Estimation & Costing Prepare project cost estimations, including material, fabrication, and labor components. Analyze tender documents and prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ). Assist in cost comparison and vendor evaluation. Support senior engineers in preparing budgets and pricing strategies. 3. Design & Engineering Support Assist in preparing 2D/3D drawings, layouts, and basic design calculations. Support design documentation for fabrication, erection, and commissioning work. Work on AutoCAD / SolidWorks / similar design software to develop and modify engineering drawings. Prepare material specifications and technical datasheets. 4. Coordination & Communication Liaise with clients for technical and commercial clarifications. Coordinate with internal departments (purchase, accounts, stores, etc.) for smooth project execution. Track and update project progress and material status reports. 5. Compliance & Quality Ensure all engineering and procurement activities follow company standards and quality norms. Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all documentation. Required Skills & Competencies:Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and basic design tools. Good understanding of engineering drawings, material specifications, and project costing. Excellent communication and coordination skills. Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines. Basic knowledge of procurement processes and vendor management.
