Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Jr. Sous Chef to join our team at The Postcard Hotel, with 3-5 years of experience in the culinary industry.

Roles and Responsibility

Assist the Executive Chef in planning and preparing menus for special events and functions.
Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes to enhance the dining experience.
Manage kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and service.
Supervise and train junior staff members to ensure high-quality food production.
Maintain high standards of quality, presentation, and safety in the kitchen.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.

Job Requirements

Proven experience as a Jr. Sous Chef or similar role in a hotel or restaurant setting.
Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and menu planning.
Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage a team effectively.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring guest satisfaction.
