Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Jr. Sous Chef to join our team at The Postcard Hotel, with 3-5 years of experience in the culinary industry.

Roles and Responsibility
  • Assist the Executive Chef in planning and preparing menus for special events and functions.
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes to enhance the dining experience.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and service.
  • Supervise and train junior staff members to ensure high-quality food production.
  • Maintain high standards of quality, presentation, and safety in the kitchen.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
Job Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Jr. Sous Chef or similar role in a hotel or restaurant setting.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and menu planning.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage a team effectively.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring guest satisfaction.
