Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant at Digital Mojo in Hyderabad. The Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day financial tasks, such as bookkeeping, preparing financial statements, and managing accounts payable and receivable. The role will also involve analyzing financial data, assisting in budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and procedures.

Job Description:

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various financial tasks including monthly account tally, bill examination, tax filings, and financial statement reconciliation. The role requires proficiency in accounting principles, strong organizational skills, and a meticulous approach to accuracy.

Responsibilities:

  • Monthly Account Tally: Compile and analyze financial information to prepare monthly balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Bill Examination: Review and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies. Coordinate with vendors to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely payments.
  • Tax Filings: Prepare and file GST (Goods and Services Tax), PF (Provident Fund), and TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) returns in compliance with regulatory requirements. Stay updated on tax laws and regulations to ensure accurate and timely filings.
  • Financial Statement Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable and receivable, and other financial records to maintain accuracy and integrity of financial data.
  • Invoicing: Generate and send invoices to clients in a timely manner. Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up with clients for payment.
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management review. Provide insights and analysis to support decision-making processes.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements. Assist in audits and provide necessary documentation as needed.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements in accounting and financial operations.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Experience in bookkeeping, financial reporting, and managing accounts
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Excel
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CPA) are a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹350,000.00 per year
