Role Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Identify and troubleshoot software defects and perform debugging. Participate in code reviews to maintain quality standards. Develop and integrate RESTful APIs for application connectivity. Implement industry best practices for database management and optimization. Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends. Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives. Contribute to software architecture discussions and decisions. Document application processes and maintain technical specifications. Assist the team in testing (both manual and automated) new features and updates. Support existing applications and work on enhancements based on feedback. Mentor junior developers and help with their onboarding and training. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. Proven experience as a Java Developer (3+ years preferred). Strong knowledge of Java and related frameworks (Spring, Hibernate). Experience with RESTful API development. Proficiency in SQL and database management (MySQL, Oracle). Familiarity with version control systems (Git). Experience with automated testing frameworks (JUnit, TestNG). Understanding of Agile methodologies and practices. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Strong communication skills (both verbal and written). Knowledge of web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus. Experience in using cloud services (AWS, Azure) is an advantage. Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively. Strong debugging skills and capability to troubleshoot issues. Willingness to learn new technologies and expand skill set.
