Job Title: Informatica Powercentre Developer Location: On-site, India Role Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement Informatica ETL processes to support data integration and data warehousing. Create and maintain mappings and workflows according to business requirements. Collaborate with business analysts to gather and understand requirements for data solutions. Perform performance tuning and optimization of ETL workflows for efficient data processing. Conduct data validation and testing to ensure accuracy and consistency. Utilize best practices for debugging and resolving issues in ETL processes. Execute data migrations between different systems as required. Maintain documentation of data flows, mappings, and workflows for future reference. Participate in design discussions and propose innovative solutions to complex data challenges. Support deployment efforts and participate in post-deployment activities. Work closely with the database administration team for database management tasks. Monitor ETL jobs and rectify any failures or errors in real-time. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide status updates on projects. Implement version control practices to ensure code integrity. Stay current on Informatica product updates and industry trends to continuously improve skills. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. At least 3 years of experience in Informatica Powercentre development. Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes. Proficient in writing complex SQL queries and executing them in various database environments. Experience with performance tuning and debugging of ETL processes. Familiarity with UNIX/Linux systems for scripting and job scheduling. Experience with data migration and integration techniques. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of Agile methodologies is a plus. Experience with version control tools like Git is preferred. Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines. Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and quality. A proactive approach to learning and self-improvement. Willingness to provide on-call support as needed.
