Job Title : IT Project Manager – ERP Modernization & Operations

Job location: Mumbai (MH)

Role Summary

Hiring an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the modernization of a legacy inventory system into a cloud-based, browser-driven ERP and to own the ongoing maintenance, enhancement, and continuous improvement of the platform post go-live.

This role combines project delivery ownership with long-term ERP operations, upgrades, and optimization, working closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors.

Key Responsibilities

ERP Delivery & Transformation

• Lead end-to-end delivery of ERP modernization and enhancement initiatives
• Own project planning, timelines, budgets, risks, and delivery reporting
• Manage frontend, backend, database, reporting, and data migration workstreams
• Act as the primary interface between business users, IT teams, and vendors

ERP Operations, Maintenance & Improvement

• Own day-to-day ERP application health, availability, and performance
• Plan and manage ongoing enhancements, feature releases, and upgrades
• Drive continuous improvement in usability, reporting, and performance
• Manage production issues, root-cause analysis, and resolution tracking
• Maintain system documentation, SOPs, and change logs

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

• Partner with business teams to prioritize enhancements and backlog items
• Manage internal teams and external support / implementation vendors
• Track SLAs, support metrics, and vendor performance

Quality, Security & Governance

• Ensure system security, access controls, and audit requirements
• Oversee UAT, regression testing, and release management
• Ensure compliance with IT, data protection, and operational standards

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience managing ERP or enterprise application platforms
• Proven background in both project delivery and application support
• Good understanding of:
• SQL databases & data migration
• Cloud platforms (Azure / AWS)
• Web-based applications (React / Blazor / similar)
• REST APIs and system integrations
• Reporting & BI tools (Power BI, Metabase, Tableau, etc.)
• Experience managing vendors, support teams, and ongoing release cycles
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile / SAFe certification
• Experience modernizing or supporting legacy ERP systems
• Exposure to inventory, supply chain, manufacturing, or finance modules
• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and release management

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,600,000.00 per year
