Job Summary

IT Network Manager will oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of a highly available, secure, and scalable network infrastructure. This role requires expertise in virtualization, SQL replication, complex network design, firewalls, core switches, and security protocols. The ideal candidate will lead a team of 10+ network professionals, ensure compliance with ISO standards, and maintain strong client and stakeholder interactions.
  • Network Infrastructure & Security:
 Design, implement, and manage complex, high-performance network architectures (LAN/WAN/SDN).
 Ensure robust network security through firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Fortinet), IDS/IPS, VPNs, and Zero Trust principles. Experience in designing high-availability (HA) networks with redundancy (active-active/active-passive). Oversee core switching (Cisco Nexus, Juniper, Arista) and routing (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP). Manage virtualized environments (VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix) and cloud networking (AWS/Azure/GCP). Implement SQL replication and database high availability solutions. Cisco Meraki, Aruba, or Ruckus wireless solutions. IoT security and segmentation strategies. SQL traffic prioritization (QoS), latency optimization for database clusters. WAN acceleration for SQL replication (Riverbed, Silver Peak).
  • Team Leadership & Operations:
 Lead and mentor a team of 6+ network engineers and administrators.
 Conduct performance reviews, training, and capacity planning. Ensure 24/7 network uptime, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
  • Compliance & Standards:
 Enforce ISO 27001, ISO 20000, NIST, or other IT security standards.
 Conduct regular audits, risk assessments, and penetration testing. Maintain documentation for PCI-DSS, GDPR, or industry-specific compliance.
  • Client & Stakeholder Management:
 Act as the primary technical liaison for clients, vendors, and internal teams.
 Translate business requirements into scalable network solutions. Present reports, SLAs, and KPIs to senior leadership.
  • Emerging Technologies & Optimization:
 Evaluate SD-WAN, IoT, AI-driven network automation, and 5G integration. Optimize bandwidth, latency, and QoS for critical applications. Lead CAPEX/OPEX planning for network upgrades.

Qualification

 Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, IT, or related field (CCNP/CCIE, CISSP, or VMware certifications preferred).

Skills Required

 Proficiency in Cisco/Juniper/Arista hardware, Palo Alto/Check Point firewalls. Knowledge of SQL replication (Always On Availability Groups) Firewalls / Core Switching & Routing Windows / IIS / SQL Server 2022 or above
