Job Description

Quidich Innovation Labs is a global company headquartered in Mumbai, India that pioneers in customized technology solutions for Sports Broadcast. Building on this thinking, we have created various technology tools over the past five years and deployed them at tournaments such as the Indian Premier League, ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, ICC Women’s World Cup, and Men's FIH Hockey World Cup, to name a few.


Role

The IT Associate will play a key role in ensuring the organization’s technology systems run efficiently and securely. This will include maintaining and supporting all hardware, software, and network infrastructure used across departments. The role will involve proactively monitoring system performance, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing timely assistance to employees to minimize downtime. In addition to user support, the IT Associate will help implement upgrades, security patches, and preventive maintenance activities to keep systems up-to-date and protected. The role will also contribute to IT projects such as new technology rollouts, system migrations, and process improvements — helping the organization leverage technology effectively to enhance productivity and reliability.


Responsibilities

  • Administering and troubleshooting Windows 10/11, Ubuntu/Linux commands and macOS endpoints.
  • Implementing, configuring, and maintaining network systems: office LAN & Wi-Fi.
  • Providing hands-on IT support in the office and remote support for other locations.
  • Troubleshooting hardware and connectivity issues (CPU, Laptop, motherboard, printers, LAN/Wi-Fi, Graphic Card, I/O cards).
  • Being available on-call to handle critical and emergency situations.
  • Utilizing the IT Service Management platform to perform, record and escalate all activity associated with all IT Equipment support related incidents, problems and requests.
  • Troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing hardware issues on desktops, laptops, printing, mobile and other assets whenever required.
  • Handling user account creation, password resets, and access management in Active Directory / Office 365.
  • Maintaining inventory of IT assets, including desktops, laptops, and accessories.
  • Performing routine system checks, OS patch updates, and antivirus updates.
  • Assisting in IT equipment setup for new employees (onboarding).


Required Qualifications, Skills and Competencies:

  • 2 years of experience in IT Ops Support or Desktop support.
  • Strong understanding of Windows 10/11, MS Office, and basic network troubleshooting.
  • Familiar with Active Directory, Outlook/Exchange, and remote desktop tools.
  • Basic understanding of LAN/WAN, IP addressing, and DNS/DHCP concepts.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware/software problems efficiently.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team under minimal supervision.
