Minimize inventory variances through tight control and root cause analysis. Ensure timely ordering and replenishment of materials to avoid production delays. Establish and enforce inventory control procedures to prevent loss, damage, or misuse. Coordinate with procurement and suppliers for timely delivery of materials. Optimize inventory levels to balance cost and availability (just-in-time or lean practices). Monitor shelf life and expiry dates (if applicable) to minimize wastage. 2. Warehouse & Storage Operations Warehouse & Storage Operations Supervise warehouse layout and storage systems for efficiency and safety. Communicate effectively with drivers, warehouse staff, and customers to ensure smooth operations and high service levels. Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, safety protocols, and company policies. Optimize logistics workflows to improve delivery performance, reduce fuel costs, and enhance operational efficiency. Track and manage fleet maintenance schedules and driver availability. Utilize logistics software and tracking tools to oversee order status and manage logistics data.
