International Business Development Manager

The International Business Development Manager will be responsible for expanding Antisera’s global footprint by identifying new markets, forging strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth across international territories. This role demands a blend of scientific insight, commercial acumen, and cross-cultural communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate new international business opportunities in biotech, diagnostics, and life sciences markets
• Develop and execute market entry strategies for targeted regions (e.g., APAC, EMEA, LATAM)
• Build and maintain relationships with distributors, research institutions, and healthcare organizations
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and partnership terms in alignment with company goals
• Collaborate with internal teams (R&D, Regulatory, Marketing) to tailor offerings for regional needs
• Monitor global market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes
• Represent Antisera at international conferences, trade shows, and networking events
• Prepare forecasts, performance reports, and strategic recommendations for senior leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in international business development, preferably in biotech or diagnostics
• Proven track record of expanding into new markets and driving revenue growth
• Strong negotiation and communication skills across cultures
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 30–50%
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with ISO standards and regulatory frameworks (e.g., CE, FDA, IVD)
• CRM and data analytics proficiency (e.g., Salesforce, Power BI)
• Strategic mindset with hands-on execution ability
• Certification in international sales or business development (e.g., CISP) is a bonus
