🔍 Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Auditor to join our team at Dr. Shroff Charity Eye Hospital. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting financial and operational audits across multiple locations, ensuring compliance, assessing risks, and driving process improvements—especially within our optical services network.

🧭 Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Audits

  • Verify that cash on hand matches system records
  • Ensure accurate account balances and reconciliation

2. Compliance & Controls

  • Ensure adherence to internal policies, procedures, and regulatory standards

3. Risk Assessment

  • Identify potential financial, inventory, or operational risks
  • Recommend mitigation strategies

4. Reporting

  • Prepare clear and concise audit reports
  • Present findings and actionable insights to management

5. Process Improvement

  • Analyze current workflows and systems
  • Suggest enhancements for efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness

6. Data Analysis

  • Use financial and operational data to detect anomalies
  • Investigate discrepancies and propose corrective actions

7. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with departments including Public Health, Finance, Operations, and Hospital Units
  • Support teams in resolving audit-related issues

8. Training & Mentoring

  • Guide staff at Primary Eye Care Centers
  • Share best practices and support capacity building

👓 Special Focus: Optical Industry Auditing

  • Inventory Management:

    Validate inventory records and ensure procedural compliance
  • Cash Accounting:

    Confirm cash collections align with system entries and bank deposits
  • Sales & Revenue:

    Audit sales data and revenue reporting accuracy
  • Supply Chain Efficiency:

    Monitor order fulfillment from Secondary Centres to Vision Centres
  • IT Systems Review:

    Assess data security and system compliance

🎓 Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum B.Com graduate
  • Strong attention to detail, especially in inventory and process audits
  • Proficiency in Advanced Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Conditional Formatting), MS Word
  • Experience with Tally and professional email communication in English
  • Willingness to travel up to 20 days per month for audits across locations, including Mohamadeen, Vrindavan, Meerut, Alwar, Saharanpur, and Modi Nagar
