Internal Auditor

Job Purpose:

The Internal Auditor will be responsible for conducting comprehensive audits across various project sites (solar and wind), business functions, analysing financial and operational data, and providing valuable insights to the management. The person will report to the Head of Internal Audit and will work independently and with collaborative teams to assess the effectiveness of internal controls, identify potential risks, and recommend policy, process and system improvements. This position requires clarity about internal controls, risk management, finance and accounting concepts and hands-on internal audit experience

Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Conceptual clarity on internal audit, internal control, risk management and basic accounting
• Basic understanding of the business environment, including industry and regulatory requirements
• Hands-on experience on internal audit, internal financial controls, internal controls over financial reporting, risk assessment and risk management
• Analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and identify patterns and trends
• Knowledge of Compliance tools (hands-on experience will be a plus)
• Knowledge of Risk Management and Internal Control frameworks (COSO / ISO)

Educational Qualifications

- Chartered Accountant (CA)

Experience Required

- 2–4 years of relevant experience in Internal Audit and Risk Advisory Services / Risk Management (Excluding the Articleship experience). Relevant post qualification experience required.

Preferred Qualifications / Good to Have (Additional Qualification post CA)

- Certification in Forensic Accounting & Fraud Detection (FDFD)

- CISA (Certified Information System Auditor)

- CIA (Certified Internal Auditor)

- Risk Management Certification
