Integrative Design Solutions Pvt. Ltd. (IDS) is a consulting firm dedicated to supporting sustainable development in the built environment. We specialise in climate-resilient, low-carbon, and energy-efficient design solutions through policy advocacy, applied research, technical consulting, and knowledge dissemination. IDS works with a wide range of national and international partners, including UN agencies, government departments, academic institutions, and private developers.

Key Responsibilities:

The selected intern will support ongoing projects related to sustainable building design, energy efficiency, passive cooling, green building standards, and climate policy. Specific tasks may include:

• Conducting literature reviews and case studies on energy efficiency, thermal comfort, and climate-resilient buildings
• Supporting data collection, cleaning, and basic analysis
• Assisting in the development of technical reports, presentations, and knowledge products
• Supporting simulation and modelling (optional – e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, DesignBuilder, Climate Consultant)
• Participating in internal and external virtual meetings and stakeholder consultations
• Contributing to communication material, infographics, and reports for dissemination

Preferred Qualifications:

• Students or recent graduates in Architecture, Environmental Engineering, Urban Planning, Sustainability, Energy Studies, or related fields
• Strong research and writing skills
• Basic knowledge of climate-responsive design and sustainability concepts
• Familiarity with MS Office; knowledge of graphic tools like Canva, Adobe, Photoshop or simulation tools
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
